Return to "Off The Beaten Path Street Art"

"Love Supreme," a.k.a the Friendly Food Market Mural, by Eric B. Ricks

One block from the Nationals Park in Waterfront is a corner bodega colored by a mural called “Love Supreme.” If you look closely, there’s a baseball ticket in this woman’s pocket. According to the muralist, Eric B. Ricks, the backstory goes like this. The woman depicted leaves the Nats game to buy a snack at the store. While gone, the Nats win the World Series. The mural was painted in 2017. Additional commentary at: https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/tips/where-find-murals-off-beaten-path-dc/
